Marcia Gay Harden will recur on How To Get Away With Murder.
Criticism and praise for Fox's New Girl. I've seen no reason to offer up any criticism.
Clay Aiken lost his bid to become a member of Congress, but don't worry, his run for office was documented by Esquire network for a new series.
MasterChef Junior debuted last night. It's a good watch. That said, did it disturb anyone that they trotted out a live chicken, duck and turkey and then presented the living breathing livestock to the kids prior to them cooking said birds? I'm not an animal rights activist, but this might have been a bad decision.
Well folks our friends over at E! have the skinny on the new cast of Real World: Skeletons so what kind of person would I be if I didn't pass along ALL of the relevant information?
"Think back and reflect on your life so far. There are probably a few people—exes, family members, ex-friends, ex-coworkers—that you'd be totally fine with never seeing again. In fact, you hope you'll never even hear their name again. No matter how good of a person you are, you still have a skeleton in your closet. Everyone does. When Real World heads back to Chicago for Real World: Skeletons, those skeletons are coming out of the closet for seven twentysomethings. And they have no idea what's in store for them!
"The season begins in the traditional way with seven strangers moving into an old nightclub turned fabulous urban loft in the Windy City's West Loop, with the roommates anticipating a few months of partying in Chicago without a care in the world. But each one of the seven has someone from their past arrive and "they soon discover they cannot run away from their past mistakes as unresolved issues and abhorrent behavior are pushed to the surface as the ‘last person on earth' they wanted to see comes knocking on their door.'"
"As these 'skeletons' move into the loft, the original seven roommates are forced to deal with their past lives while also balancing the relationships they've made with each other.
"And yes, let's not forget this will all be caught on camera for all of us to enjoy. The roommates' worst nightmares are going to be our entertainment! Is it bad that we're so excited to see this season?!
"While we would never in a million years sign up for this kind of torture, let's meet the seven unsuspecting victims about to live through hell:
East Providence, Rhode Island
A stylish and sensitive ladies' man, Bruno is a Portuguese transplant with old-fashioned values, a tough exterior and explosive temper. This stubborn macho man hasn't spoken to his brother in three years after a petty argument became an angry confrontation.
Kansas City, Missouri
A sassy Mexican-American bombshell, this fiery hot-tempered bartender is a serial dater with a "roster" of men back home. Damaged by the abandonment of her step-father, Sylvia is an emotional girl who longs to find love but often gravitates towards dysfunctional romantic relationships.
Raleigh, North Carolina
This charming ladykiller has just lost his job as a car salesman; and Real World comes at just the right time to determine his next step in life. Raised by his mom after she gave birth to him at 19, Jason has never known his father. Money has always been tight; and if there's one lesson he learned from his father it's that he'll never walk out on his own child.
This flirty, gorgeous yet naïve blonde with the bubbly personality is known for stealing guys' hearts. After recovering from a six-year battle with drug addiction, Madison now describes herself as a "newborn;" looking to build close female friendships, and finding herself again.
Staten Island, New York
Aggressive and loud, with a thick Staten Island accent, this is the first time Nicole has been away from her home and her triplet sisters. Extremely competitive, she works as an EMT "saving lives" and as a single lesbian she claims she can "steal your girlfriend."
A handsome Southern charmer with a killer smile, Tony's weakness is women. A chemical plant worker, he has the habit of not being able to be faithful to one girl—resulting in a trail of broken hearts.
An immigrant beauty from Moldova, you either hate or love this brash and outgoing partier who never holds back from giving her opinion—no matter who gets hurt by her comments. A self-described former fat girl who was bullied in high school, she turned the tables on her enemies and became a hard-edged bully herself.
Real World: Skeletons premieres on December 16, 2014 at 10 pm on MTV."
Is there ever a bad time to pass along some news about USA's Suits? I didn't think so. "Gabriel Macht will be reunited with his real-life father, Stephen Macht, in the fourth season of USA Network's legal drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
"Stephen will be reprising his role as Harvard Law professor Gerard, notorious for his high standards and rigid ways, in two of the final six episodes of the season when Suits returns in early 2015.
"The elder Macht first appeared in the season-three episode 'Yesterday's Gone,' and his encounter with Gabriel's hotshot Manhattan lawyer Harvey Specter was icy at best.
“'Reprising my role as Professor Gerard on Suits is an opportunity of a lifetime for a father. As a former drama professor who once coached 15-year-old Gabriel in the role of Cyrano de Bergerac, I now experience the reality of a role reversal. Gabriel coaches me as Professor Gerard; the student has become the teacher,' Stephen tells THR in a statement. 'That is reflective of our on-screen and off-screen journeys. Because we are real-life father and son, we share an edgy, raw emotional honesty that drives our scenes. And that’s just plain fun!'
"The Machts aren't the only family members to mix the personal with the professional. Gabriel's real-life wife, Jacinda Barrett [of The Real World fame], recurred from 2012 to 2013 as Zoe, Harvey's romantic interest, and co-star Patrick J. Adams will be reuniting with his real-life fiancee, Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario, when she guest-stars."
"ABC’s Scandal is poised to go out with a bang as it heads into its winter recess.
"TVLine has learned that in the fourth-year drama’s fall finale, titled 'Where the Sun Don’t Shine' and airing Thursday, Nov. 20, Khandi Alexander will reprise her role as Olivia’s one bad mother, Maya Pope/Lewis.
"Maya last was seen in the Season 3 finale, when after being expertly framed by husband Rowan for Jerry Grant Jr.’s murder, she was thrown into 'the hole' where B613 keeps the best of the worst.
"Since then, of course, blame for the First Son’s murder (as well as the killing of Gladiator Harrison Wright and Maya’s lackey Adnan Salif) has been shifted to Olivia’s lover Jake, who is now en route to a supermax prison after being spared a grislier B613-determined fate by President Grant.
"Following its winter hiatus, Scandal will return (at a date TBA) with the remaining 13 episodes of Season 4."
Per TheWrap, "Jeff Fahey is heading to Justified. The Lost and Under the Dome alum has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the FX drama, which stars Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins.
"Fahey will play Zachariah Randolph on the series, which enters its sixth and final season in January. In his 60s, Randolph is described as weathered and a little shaky, a man beaten down by hardship and drink. An Old Coot from the hill country, Zachariah can still find his way around an abandoned mine shaft.
"The series has also cast Sam Elliott and Garret Dillahunt for its final season."
