MTV 1, TVUncovered 0. You got me MTV. You had me all amped up for the exes to return and you held out and didn't reveal their arrival and the surprise of the housemates until the 58th minute. Not that I wouldn't have watched had the exes' arrival not been teased, but you sure stretched this to its very outer limits. All I'm saying is that you had better bring it next Wednesday . . .
Per Variety, "[a] 24-hour television channel dedicated to round-the-clock coverage of Oscar Pistorius’ murder trial will be launched in March, the South African cable provider MultiChoice announced Wednesday.
"The network will go on air just one day before the double-amputee Olympian “Bladerunner” faces charges March 3 for shooting and killing his 29 year-old girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year. While the case has captivated media around the world, interest is particularly high in his home country.
"Judge Thokozile Masipa, who will preside over the trial at North Gauteng High Court, has not yet ruled whether TV cameras will be allowed to record images of court proceedings or if the trial can be carried live, but MultiChoice said its coverage will include inside information about the case.
"Pistorius faces life imprisonment with at least 25 years before parole if convicted for premeditated murder. South Africa does not have the death penalty, and Judge Masipa will ultimately pronounce Pistorious innocent or guilty, as the country does not have trial by jury."
"Jerry Seinfeld has now had coffee with more than 25 million viewers. Crackle’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee topped 25 million streams during its third and current season. This time around, Seinfeld picked up Tina Fey, Howard Stern, Louis C.K., Jay Leno, Patton Oswalt and Todd Barry in various classic cars en route to getting a cup of Joe.
"Crackle has already re-upped the series for Season 4, with enough episodes ordered for a fifth. The web series will pretty much go on as long as Seinfeld wants it to go on, Eric Berger, executive vice president of Digital Networks for Sony Pictures Television and general manager of Crackle, told TheWrap.
"Therefore, there is no reason to believe that the project will end anytime soon. Seinfeld himself is quite pleased with both the arrangement, and the show’s measurable success.
“'My initial intention was to make a few of these silly little things for the stand-up comedy obsessed like myself,' Seinfeld told TheWrap. 'Thanks to Steve Mosko, the cool Crackle people and especially Acura, it’s gotten completely out of hand. I consider myself extremely lucky to have fallen in with folks who also enjoy the weird fun of playing a game with no real rules.'”
Per Variety, "Jerry Seinfeld’s 'secret project' — the one he eluded to during a Reddit AMA earlier this month — is in fact a reunion of Seinfeld, the comedian said today.
"Appearing on the Boomer & Carton radio show on WFAN on Thursday morning, Seinfeld answered a barrage of questions centered around a photo taken on Jan. 13 of Seinfeld with Jason Alexander, walking into the diner that served as a backdrop for many a Seinfeld episode.
"Seinfeld said the project was not a commercial, or an episode of his hit web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and while he would not give away much in the way of details, he did say that Alexander was playing his George Costanza character and that other Seinfeld characters were involved.
"He described the project as 'short-ish form,' a 'one-and-done' thing involving Larry David in some way that will be made available 'very, very soon.'”
Kevin Jonas will appear on an upcoming episode of DIY's Man Caves. Happy to see he's putting his new room to good use. [NOTE: After a little digging, I learned that this is NOT the house in which Kevin had a Man Cave done.]
Per TMZ, "[t]he bitchfight on this week's episode of Vanderpump Rules was not just reality TV BS ... we've learned one of the stars ran to the cops afterward ... fingering her castmate.
"Stassi Schroeder accuses Kristen Doute of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend ... calling her a 'dirty f**king whore' ... then hauling off and smacking Kristen in the face. She also douses Kristen with a drink -- while the rest of the cast looks on.
"The fight was not scripted ... and Kristen was so enraged she was gunning to get Stassi prosecuted and filed a police report.
"But we found out the criminal case hit a dead end ... cops needed a follow-up interview but Kristen was uncooperative.
"Lisa Vanderpump -- who employs both Stassi and Kristen at her restaurant -- tells TMZ the women have since made up telling us, 'I know that Stassi was very sorry and regretted it. I made Stassi apologize to Kristen and hope that they could move forward.'"
Check out the guys from Workaholics auditioning for Game Of Thrones (thanks Conan). If you're not watching this season of Workaholics, it has been brilliant. The best of any season to date, thus far. Last night's episode might have been better than the season premiere last week.

Perrey Reeves has signed on to the Entourage movie. So has Billy Bob Thornton.
Cheryl Hines is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? No disrespect, but does she have the body of work that warrants it? Click here and tell me I'm out of line.
Per Deadline, "CBShas given a pilot order to More Time With Family, a multi-camera comedy starring comedian Tom Papa. The project, which had a put pilot commitment, was one of the highest-profile comedy packages this season – with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as executive producers, Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith as writers/exec producers and Papa as star. 20th Century Fox TV, where Yuspa and Goldsmith are based, is producing.
"Based on the stand-up of Papa and the experiences of Damon, More Time With Family centers on a husband and father (Papa) making a career change to spend more time with his family. The project originated with Papa and Damon who had worked together on two movies, The Informant and Behind The Candelabra."
