Last post before the long holiday weekend and to get you in the mood, how about some delicious looking watermelon Oreos?Breaking Amish star Kate Stoltzfus has traded her bonnet for a bustier in a new issue of
Maxim. "There are definitely a lot of Amish women who have great bodies, because they work hard," Stoltzfus told the TV Guide. "They also eat really healthy, since they grow their own food. That's one big thing I miss about home, being able to garden and take care of plants." I will definitely NOT be buying this issue.
They say that when it rains it pours. My life is a prime example of that, but I do take some comfort (not is a sickening way), that I'm not alone. TMZ reports that "[i]t's been a rough year for Happy Endings star Eliza Coupe -- 'cause 2 months after ABC canned her show, her marriage is following suit. TMZ has learned the actress has been hit with divorce papers by her husband Randall Whittinghill -- a puppeteer and acting coach."
"In the docs, Randall says they're working out the division of property in mediation ... but he IS asking for spousal support. Makes sense since, ya know, he's a puppeteer."
"The two married back in 2007 after 7 years of dating. They have no children together. According to the docs, Randall blames the split on irreconcilable differences."
"Fun Fact -- Coupe has previously said that she only started dating her husband because he looks like Johnny Depp."
Sad news to pass along, Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly died of an overdose, The Associated Press reports. Kelly's toxicology screening revealed that he had a mixture of drugs in his system when he died on May 1 at 34, Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office in Atlanta announced Monday.
"Kelly was found unresponsive on his living room couch at his home in Atlanta. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but Kelly was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Honey did not know the specifics of the drugs Kelly had used prior to his death, but a police report reveals that the rapper's mother said her son used cocaine and heroin the night before he died and had a history of drug abuse."
Gabrielle Union was supposedly in the running for the role of Olivia Pope on Scandal . I for one, am glad she didn't get the gig. I guess she's stoked about landing her own show, Being Mary Jane on BET?
Ruben Studdard is making his return to reality television—this time with the goal of losing, not winning, in mind. According to various media repots, the Season 2 American Idol winner will compete on the upcoming fall season of NBC's reality weight-loss series The Biggest Loser.
Time Warner Cable Sports Net has, according to ESPNLosAngeles.com, reportedly discussed giving free agent NBA center Dwight Howard his own TV show if he re-signs with the Los Angeles Lakers.
It's not just Paula Deen who's a racist these days. Evidently, there's a group of folks in the Big Brother house who read from the same book as Deen.
