Hey people, simmer down on Sharknado . It's not worth 10% of the attention you're giving it.
I watched The Bridge last night. The first episode was ok, in my opinion. It did not hook me in like the premiere of Under The Dome , for example. I'm going to give this show another look next week, but hopefully the pace is picked up a bit.
Kendra Wilkinson's 3-year-old son, Hank Baskett IV, is sure to have an active summer -- and won't be sitting in front of the small screen in his off time. "He hates TV, he will not watch it!" mom Wilkinson, 28, tells Us Weekly of her son with husband of four years, former NFL player Hank Baskett. "I tried to get him to get to watch Cinderella for the first time and he was like, 'Mama, can you turn it off? I don't like TV!'" Hopefully he didn't see his mom quit the show Splash like a little crybaby.
Rumor has it that Netflix is in talks for a 5th season of Arrested Development .
Deadline reports that Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant is developing a design competition series with E.J. Johnston and James Deutch, co-creators of the NBC series Fashion Star. On the show, which is tentatively titled Janie Bryant's Hollywood, aspiring designers will be tasked each week with creating “a garment in the style of a classic Hollywood film, or a celebrity’s signature style.” Bryant and the as-yet-unnamed judges will select a winner. I'll pass.
"Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Matt Lauria has formally closed a deal to return to the NBC tearjerker for a sizable Season 5 stint. Lauria’s specific episode count is not known, but word is the Friday Night Lights alum is currently on board for roughly half of Season 5′s 22 episodes."
More Parenthood news. EW reports that the show is adding to its cast for season 5. Lost actress Sonya Walger is joining the show in a recurring role next season. She’ll play Meredith, a single and sexy architect who is working with Joel (Sam Jaeger) on a two-year project. Except she makes Julia (Erika Christensen) feel self-conscious about being a stay-at-home mom and she sees her as a threat.
This show cannot return soon enough!
Thanks for heeding my suggestion of NOT watching Hollywood Game Night last night. Evidently, the show was down 24% from the August 13, 2012 NBC debut of reality series Stars Earn Stripes. That's pretty pathetic.
And speaking of pathetic, I watched about 2 minutes of The Winner Is last night on NBC. What are they doing over there? Stick to The Voice and enjoy its success.
