The return of Big Brother  is only weeks away.  Here's a first look (courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter ) of the house's new decor and design.

Welcome back Franklin & Bash .  The show returns to TNT tonight with Heather Locklear joining the cast as a regular.

Check out the new show The Hustle,  premiering tonight on Fuse.  This show happens to feature Hall of Fame RB Eric Dickerson's daughter Erica.  Show some love.  It's also being produced by Generate (Alloy Digital), with whom I'm working on another project currently.  The six-episode, half-hour dramedy sheds light on the challenges aspiring artists face trying to break into the hip hop world.

The premiere Showtime's Ray Donovan , which I mentioned yesterday, can be seen on-line, in its entirety, now.  Here's the link.

Thanks to Andy Denhart for pointing out this interview with David and Jackie Segal (the couple featured in a great documentary film called  Queen of Versaille , which you should definitely watch on-line.

According to The Nerdist , "Peter Farrelly is set to announce Dumb and Dumber To.   Farrelly will film Dumb and Dumber To in Atlanta later this summer for a release next summer.  Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have agreed to reprise their roles of Harry and Lloyd. This film will have nothing to do with Dumb and Dumberer as the original two-some will wash our mouths of that horrible taste. Universal Pictures has finalized the distribution deal responsible for bringing Dumb and Dumber To to the screen. Peter and Bobby Farrelly will direct the film using a script written by Sean Anders and John Morris."

According to Deadline , "Oxygen has quietly given the green light to  Secret Celebrity, a reality series produced by T Group Prods, which Wendy Williams executive produces as part of her first-look deal with the cable network. Per Oxygen’s description when the project was announced in February as being in development, Secret Celebrity features stars in disguise as they surprise unsuspecting fans, friends and family. I hear celebrities who already have filmed episodes of the show include Nick Lachey, Ice-T & Coco and LuAnn de Lesseps, who just signed on to return to The Real Housewives Of New York on sibling Bravo."

I have a few questions:

(1) Who is gonna watch this?

(2) Who's heading up casting?

(3) Hasn't this show already been done, by the same EP in 2009 and also had Nick Lachey doing the same thing he's doing on the 2013 version??  Come on people, can we come up with just ONE original idea?

Variety  argues that MTV's new signature, defining show is Catfish .  That's very sad and I whole-heartedly disagree.  Ever heard of The Challenge ????

From TV Guide : "[t]he people behind The Bachelor are taking matchmaking one step further by introducing a new dating app called At First Sight.

"'[Bachelor creator] Mike Fleiss and I have always talked about creating a dating website because over the years thousands of people have come up to me asking questions,' host Chris Harrison tells 'Not everyone can be on The Bachelorette and Bachelor, so we wanted to do something for the masses. We've taken what we've learned from the show over the last 11 years and... the best parts of social media and have put them all together.'

"The new app will allow users to create and view video profiles that answer questions that have expertly crafted through years of casting The Bachelor shows. Harrison says it's more engaging than a typical dating profile."  Lord help us all. . . .
