Chuck Klosterman conducted a terrific and very insightful interview with Survivor host Jeff Probst. Chuck asked a few questions that gave Jeff pause and elicited a great conversation. I highly recommend checking it out here.
So I've been somewhat disturbed by Girls of late. I am a fan of Lena Dunham and think she's super talented and a great personality but the gratuitous nudity is growing old. We know that she's comfortable in her own skin and I certainly applaud that, but we get it. Move on. What I do take away from it all is that the show elicits emotions in me as a viewer. That has to be a sign of a well-written show, right?
Speaking of Sunday night viewing, I could use more than 30 minutes of House of Lies. Don Cheadle is great and his supporting cast is as great. If you're not watching this show, get into it.
Jacoby Jones is the current professional athlete who has signed on for the next season of Dancing With The Stars? Are you kidding me? This could be the beginning of the end. There is a decent chance that the Ravens end up cutting him in the next few weeks. I understand the desire to keep up the streak of having a Super Bowl champion Wide Receiver on the show (Hines Ward, Donald Driver), but once Torrey Smith and/or Anquan Boldin passed, I would have thought they'd move in a different direction. I have a pretty nice list of Hall of Fame names interested in dancing . . . .
TLC is bringing back Breaking Amish for a 2nd season. Congrats to friend Eric Evangalista, who is one of the EPs. I was a fan of this show despite the "controversy" about a couple of the cast members knowing one another prior to shooting. The two part reunion show interview with the cast was interesting to say the least. Evidently season 2 will take the season 1 cast (Abe, Rebecca, Kate, Sabrina and Jeremiah) somewhere in Florida as opposed to New York. Wherever they want to bring them is fine with me. I'm in.
